I get that a lot. I’ll watch a 15-second clip about history or tech, and later when I’m cooking or walking, my brain is still connecting dots. I read in https://www.digitalgpoint.com/new-attention-economy-seconds-of-play-hours-of-thought/ that these “seconds of play” actually work as seeds — they sit in the background and turn into deeper thoughts. It made me realize the time I thought I was “wasting” might actually be helping me process new ideas in ways I didn’t expect.
