We took OSRS Gold care, as with all content that we include to RuneScape to ensure that the Squeal of Fortune would enhance and not diminish what makes this game so special for millions of players every single day. We truly believe that we succeeded in both of these priorities.
We know that some people are not happy with Squeal-of-Foot. While we try everything we can to make the experience enjoyable for all players because of the huge size of our community, it's impossible to please everyone all the time, despite our best efforts.
We have always believed that doing the right thing for long-term game health has been our core philosophy. Long-standing players know this because I have always followed this principle regardless of the initial discomfort. One instance is the Bot nuke. I can confidently state that we've always been rewarded for doing the right thing over the long run. Today, the reality is that not only is the game getting better every year, but also our community.
However, the feedback we get regarding our updates as well as how you and the community engage with them is crucial to us. We have taken note of your comments in the forums and have listened to them. We listened to your concerns and made some changes to Squeal of Fortune. This included new ways to earn additional spins in the form of rewards, as well as additional payment protection on all purchases in the game.
We, the team, and I are both saddened by the reluctance of some players to purchase additional spins. However, the majority of our players love the Squeal of Fortune every day and more than 70 percent of our members who are free use the Squeal of Fortune every day which makes it among the most popular content releases to date. It is also a favorite for the majority of our players who continue to enjoy the many ways to earn additional spins for no cost.
The system's design means that players are not worried about gambling, RWT'ing or making use of the Squeal of Fortune for their own financial gain. We have seen many players taking advantage of the new rewards, and others opting to purchase additional spins. But, we haven't witnessed any abuse of this system, despite constantly watching the system.
Looking ahead, RuneScape continues to grow more than ever, in terms of both engaging content and the scale of the community. The Runespan, which was launched on Monday, and has seen more than 90% improvements in framerates of games for a significant part of the community, should make it clear that we are just getting ready to launch our largest and most exciting year of content yet.
Naturally, you will all learn more about it in the near future. So keep coming for updates. We appreciate your reading and hope you have lots of enjoyment.

Upload a photo of your weekly resource contribution here. Building tick on Tuesday at 10 AM GMT Poll. You can select the day that the build tick will be performed (instead it being Tuesdays). My thought was that, should you wish to alter the build time anytime the day after tier 7 could be a good option. Here is what I am thinking:
A weekend build tick could be a nice option for some who want to cap at the end of the week have a Saturday or Friday to do it (generally less occupied with school or work), and people who prefer to cap the early have the same opening. For the rest of us, like me, can cap any point during the week. This would be what it would take to move the tick.
The tick is charged for a week's worth of maintenance when you move the tick. However, no upgrades are made. After a week, the tick will return to its normal state with the start of the new day.
Since this is a major decision that affects all of us, we should all be in the process. I put up a series of poll questions to see the general feeling about it, and from there devise a course of action with the staff/community/people.
What do these resources serve for? Like usual, maintenance for our entire collection. Tier 7!!! Tier 7!! Recent Updates. Not last week, all resources will be used to maintain and tier 7.
Cosmetic Enhancements. As we're at 7th level and above, we are able working on these. At present, we're working on 3 different goals at the same time. I have a system to put cosmetic items up as we complete the goals, so that the resources always have something to go into. We are working on a large hedge which is expensive, but should look good (it'll be up in the North-West near the kiln and mine). We are also working to create shields that could be hung in the second floor next to the room for parties. Finally, we are working on upgrading the benches that are in the room for parties as a cloth overflow item.
I am sure that mastering skills and getting a 99 in a skill is not as hard as it used to be 'back in the day'. Before you begin to talk about the waste of time, I want you guys to listen to me on this one. As a free-to-play player I've been playing Scape since 2004. In the latter part of 2007 I could prepare 99 meals. It was a huge accomplishment for me. In the past there were no skill caps. It was not easy at all, alot of grinding. Since then, I've been awarded two 99s.
I'm not going to talk about it. Im seeking your opinion. Are you of the opinion that getting an 89 in any field is worth it? If so, do you want to earn the ability to earn it? Or maybe just for the personal satisfaction and glory of 99.
I remember vividly being cut off when I was mining granite ores. It was a long process, and I was proud of my untrimmed cape. E.g. someone with something like a RC cape a couple of years ago were almost worshipped.
However, at the moment with the release of the milestone caps and caps of achievement, skillcapes being more common, they aren't that special anymore short of a level 3 account with something like 99 slayer, skillcapes are only worn when performing a skill-although some skills require wearing better capes (ardougne cape for zmi/thieving ect) and some people are down upon for wearing them when they are killing.
Do you think it unfair that players who have auras have an advantage in dangerous PvP over those who don't? As far as I know I know, all combat auras except those specifically marked as not working in PvP (sharpshooter knockout, runic accuracy and friends in need) can in fact be utilized in PvP that is dangerous.
Take a look at this list of benefits: Poison Purge is a healing agent that can keep your body continuously for 68 seconds or 168s if you went to Zammy GWD. Invigorate - restores spec faster. Inspiration - restores spec faster. Vampirism - 5 percent healing from the damage, is stacked with soul split
Penance - 20% prayer repairs damage taken. It can cancel either the effect of Smite or Divine's prayer drain. Berserker - +10% att and str (similar to the effects of an additional potion), -50% defence, stacks with potions. For 1 def pures defence reduction does nothing. Dark Magic - chance of slightly more damage from mage. Ancestor spirits – an additional vengeance effect may be possible (not confirmed). Aegis: 10% reduction in damage. It stacks with soak, divine and ely.
Although I don't normally post anything about Runescape, I wanted to share my experiences in RS as an individual player or pker. I noticed that pkers bot more frequently than normal players.
I have extensive experience in Pking. I observed that a lot of users botched actual evidence even though they were training at extremely suspicious levels. (99 str 20att, for instance 90-99 on level 40-60 accounts and 90-99 in skill on level 40-60). With this large number of botters who also are Pkers, it appears that there is an obvious trend.
This bonus exp weekend may be a good way to use Urns. You can simply log on and teleport all of your urns that you have prepared. This will give you some exp to help you start the bonus exp weekend. But, you are able to only get 10 full-urns of each skill.
You'll earn 44887.5 exp when you craft 10 Strong Woodcutting Urns. If you craft 62 times, 10 Infernal urns will give you 50625 exp. With 76 crafting 10 Decorated fishing urns, you will get 51300 exp. If you craft 81 times it will give you 41782.5 exp. Although the exp gains aren't huge, the 40k/50k exp in skill per minute can be extremely beneficial. At current prices 10 Infernal Urns can save 1.4mill if you use Dragon bones.
Hello Everyone! Falxmaster. I'm Falxmaster. I plan to create a comedy-style reality-show style comedy series on YouTube featuring Noobs. However, I am still looking for actors. Check out the rest of the topic for how to Audition. While you don't necessarily have to act, acting is an art that can be taught. If you'd like to audition, you can contact me in game. My name is Falxmaster.
Not RuneScape 2007 Gold argument, but post your opinion between the two. Oldschool was 01-07 and the new school is 08-Now. Talk about adapting to the new way of playing (if you've just joined from the 3 year break) Talk about the loot difference since new things are being added. Everything is easy. Fun overall.
